The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate, by Jacqueline Kelly

The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate is about Calpurnia once again dealing with her family and deciding her future. The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate is for young adults. Calpurnia still loves to spend time with her Grandpa and observe things. Calpurnia has a newt called Sir Isaac Newton and everyone is scared of him. After all Calpurnia does love studying her animals. Calpurnia’s brother Travis loves finding injured or not injured wild animals and ‘adopting’ them. Calpurnia has to keep her parents away from Travis’ pets. A hurricane struck the bottom of Texas and Calpurnia’s cousin Aggie comes to live with the Tates. Aggie has a typewriter and is teaching Calpurnia how to type. I thought The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate was a great book. Five Stars. Have a great  day!!! -annaleeliz and Buttons
