One Story. Three Sides. No Easy Answers.
This book took my heart and ripped it into pieces. Tiny little pieces that will never be put back together again. It was so beautiful and powerful and it taught such an important message! All opinions are entirely my own. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Stone will write next.
Ms. Stone’s writing style is extraordinary, very addictive, and lyrical. She writes about hard topics that most people don’t talk about, but then after reading one of her books, want to start a movement for. I think that Ms. Stone’s style is one of the most unique writing styles out there and I really love it.
Coop, Rae, and Jupiter were the perfect squad. At least, for one part of the book. They were such unique people – amazing, alone, but better together. When they weren’t fighting, that is. I loved them all so much! All of them were so precious and I want them all to be happy.
Rae was probably my favorite character. She was so strong and independent and smart. I just wanted to be cheering for her and comforting her and being her friend. She was the most upbeat person in the book and she cared for her friends quite a lot. I loved how kind she was to everyone – even if she was a little bit of a people pleaser.
The plot was one of the most interesting parts of the book. It was organized into three sections, each section in a separate POV, one for Jupiter, Coop, and Rae. I enjoyed Coop’s POV the most because of how he interacted with everyone in his life. I loved him so much because he was kind to everyone and because of funny he was. The plot twists were very unpredictable and complicated. I loved how well things were planned out. You could tell that Ms. Stone planned this carefully. I really admired her attention to detail and her ability to (probably) stick to a plan.
All in all, I really loved this book and I can’t wait to see what else Ms. Stone writes. I got the summary from the back cover. Remember to fill out my survey. You can find the link to it on my About page. Thanks for Reading!!! Have a Great Day!!! -Annalee and Buttons
